Channelwise magazine recently published the results of its 2015 Channelwise Awards, where South African resellers were asked to select their favourite vendors and distributors in a range of categories across two different surveys: one for SME/ consumer resellers and one targeting enterprise VARs.

APC by Schneider Electric won in both categories and was named:

Top UPS vendor in the enterprise categories

“The awards illustrate the strength of the APC by Schneider Electric brand in our region and the solid business relationships that ITB has built with distributors. The Channelwise Awards have been running for six years and are voted for by the resellers only. Surveys are conducted online and resellers are asked to rate their favourite distributors on different criteria mainly dealing with ease of doing business with them. The results are determined by straight numbers: the vendors and distributors with the most votes in each sub-section or category wins. All voting, results and auditing is carried out by an independent company, and Channelwise has sight only of the final, tallied results.

“It’s important to remember that winning a Channelwise Award means that resellers think highly of you. It is not a reflection of revenue, or support, or growth – it really is about perception and whether resellers enjoy doing business with you,” states Channelwise.
