Issue,
After connecting UPS to Windows OS using the USB cable PowerChute Business Edition does not discover the UPS.

PowerChute Business Edition version 10.0.5 and above
Environment:
All supported Windows OS
UPS (SC500RM1U, SMT750RM1U, SMT1000RM1U)
Cause:
For the UPS to be discovered and be able to communicate with PowerChute Business Edition, Silicon Labs USB to Serial driver must be installed prior to installing PowerChute.
Solution:
Download and install the Silicon Labs driver from https://www.silabs.com/documents/public/software/CP210x_Windows_Drivers.zip

Steps to Install Silicon Labs driver on GUI based Windows OS

Steps to Install Silicon Labs driver on GUI based Windows OS
- Download the Silicon Labs driver from the above URL and extract the file.
- Copy the extracted file to the Windows GUI based machine where you wish to install PCBE.
- Navigate to the directory where you have copied the extracted file.
- Determine if you have 32-bit or 64-bit Windows.
- Double click to run the .exe file named CP210xVCPInstaller_xnn.exe(where xnn is x64 for 64-bit and x86 is for 32-bit).
