Cause:
Informational

Solution:

Microsoft Windows 7, 8,10, & 11 Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019 & 2022 do not have a native serial UPS shutdown. For a serial UPS, use the supported PowerChute software (PowerChute Business Edition / PowerChute Serial Shutdown.

For any USB-connected UPS, these OS have some configuration for shutdown if you do not want to use the supported APC software options. Once a USB UPS is connected, the OS adds a configuration similar to that of a laptop with an onboard battery. Once this happens, you can set up a desktop or server's power options in the same way as a laptop.

Please review the attached PDF for instructions:

Also, if the native battery shutdown options are not displayed after uninstalling PowerChute software, please review Video: What to do if the system is missing native shutdown battery options / How to restore HID UPS device driver.
