Why doesn't Output 5 on the AP9613 Dry Contact Card in Config 2 change status when I put the UPS into bypass via the display
Issue:
According to the user manual, when the card is in Configuration 2, Ouput 5 should change state when the UPS is in bypass by software, front panel or rear panel selection (just like on the legacy card AP9610), but this is not the case. Configuration 2 sets Output 5 to change state when in the UPS is in Maintenance Bypass or Fault Bypass .
Product Line:
AP9613
Environment:
Online UPS with Dry Contact Card
Cause:
Incorrect UPS status in firmware
Resolution:
Instead of using the Dip Switch Settings for Configuration 2, use Configuration 4 Dip Switch Settings and use the following steps in the Configuration Utility.
Once in the Configuration Utility
1. Choose Configuration 2 from the Legacy Template at the bottom of the screen.
2. Change Output 5 from Bypass Maintenance or Fault to either Bypass Software or Fault, or Bypass Manual
3. Click Save and Press OK on the Dialogue box
4. Exit the Utility and close the Window showing the card's folders and files.
5. Eject the Mass Storage and remove the cable
