Select UPS(s) for your purchase. Continue to add units until you meet your minimum Trade-UPS requirement of
0 VA
You have reached your limit in available VA. If you wish to purchase additional products you must either enter additional trade-ins, or remove products from you cart.
You have met your minimum purchase requirement. Choose additional UPS(s), or continue to Step 3, "Choose Accessories".
APC Metered Rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) provide active metering to enable energy optimization and circuit protection. User-defined alarm thresholds mitigate risk with real-time local and remote alerts to warn of potential circuit overloads. Metered Rack PDUs provide power utilization data to allow Data Center Managers to make informed decisions on load balancing and right sizing IT environments to lower total cost of ownership. Metered Rack PDUs include real power monitoring, a temperature/humidity sensor port, locking IEC receptacles, and ultra low profile circuit breakers. Users can access and configure Metered Rack PDUs through secure Web, SNMP, or Telnet Interfaces which are complimented by APC Centralized Management platforms using InfraStruxure Central, Operations, Capacity, and Energy Efficiency.

Vertical Mounting Capabilities
Easily mounts vertically in racks or enclosures and occupies zero U of valuable rack space, which allows more equipment in the rack. Units that mount vertically are optimized to fit in a NetShelter enclosures.
NetShelter Metered Rack PDUs Features & Benefits
Wide range of input and output connections
Product family includes a variety of input and output connections to distribute 120V, 208V, or 230V power to multiple outlets. Having a variety of inputs and outputs allow users to adapt to varying power requirements. APC offers units that bring up to 17.3kW using a single branch whip.
Single input power source
Supply power from one branch whip to multiple pieces of equipment, conveniently powering rack-mount equipment. Saves time and money during installation by using one branch whip and standard connections.
Rack-Mountable
Includes horizontal, vertical, and toolless-mount varieties. Puts power where it is needed most - in the racks near the equipment.
Alarm Thresholds
Define alarm thresholds in order to avoid overloaded circuits. Network and visual alarms inform the user of possible problems.
Local Current Monitoring Display
The aggregate current draw per power distribution unit is displayed on the unit via a digital display. The local digital display helps installers avoid overloaded circuits by providing a visible warning when the current draw is close to the maximum amperage draw of the strip.
Alarm Thresholds
Define alarm thresholds in order to avoid overloaded circuits. Network and visual alarms inform the user of possible problems.
60C Operating Temperature
All 8000 and 9000 series PDUs now provide the ability to operate in a maximum ambient air temperature of 60C (140F) at full load ensuring reliability and availability even in today's high density deployments. Other models allow up to 45C (113F).
Remote Management Capabilities
Full-featured network management interfaces that provide standards-based management via Web, SNMP, and Command Line Interface. Allows users to access, configure, and manage units from remote locations to save valuable time. Associated with this feature is the ability to quickly and easily upgrade the firmware via network download to installed units for future product enhancements.
Integrates with StruxureWare Data Center Expert
An IT-ready, scalable access monitoring system that collects, organizes, and distributes critical alerts, surveillance video and key information, providing a unified view of complex physical infrastructure environments from anywhere on the network
Flash Upgradeable
Quickly and easily upgrade firmware via network download for future product enhancements. Eliminates the need to replace products already installed in the field when new features are released. (Note: Networked units only)
Local Current Monitoring Display
The aggregate current draw per rack PDU is displayed on the unit via a digital display. The local digital display helps installers avoid overloaded circuits by providing a visible warning when the current draw is close to the maximum amperage draw of the strip. (Available on designated SKUs only)
Load indicator LED
Indicates overload and warning conditions based on the user-defined alarm thresholds. Alerts users of potential overloaded circuits.

Trade-UPS Rules
To participate in the Trade-UPS program, the customer agrees to the following rules
Trading In a Single UPS: Customers can trade in a UPS, for a new UPS, up to four times the VA rating of the UPS being traded in. (For example, if an customer trades in a 750VA UPS, they can purchase up to a 3000VA UPS under the this program). IMPORTANT: The VA rating of the UPS to be purchased must equal or exceed the amount of the UPS traded in.
Trading In Multiple UPSs: Customers can trade in multiple UPSs for larger UPSs. The VA of the multiple units can be combined, then doubled, to get a maximum VA the customer is eligible to trade up to. Customer cannot trade in UPSs for any single or multiple UPSs of lesser value (VA) than the combined VA of all units traded in.
At time of Trade-UPS purchase, customer can purchase a maximum of five additional items at “Trade-UPS/Cross-Sell Pricing”. Additional items can only include Surge products, or UPS accessories relative to the application level of the UPS(s) that are being purchased. In the event the UPS being traded in is not returned to APC within 30 days of receipt of the new UPS, the customer shall be charged for the amount of the Trade-UPS/Cross-Sell discount. The dollar value of the Trade-UPS/Cross-Sell discount shall be calculated as the difference between APC Estimated Resale Price (ERP) at time of purchase, and the Trade-UPS/Cross-Sell Price. Customer must supply credit card at time of initial Trade-UPS purchase. This credit card will be debited for the amount of the discount if unit being traded in, is not sent to APC within 30 days.
