Designed with high density, speed of deployment, and an "always-on" mentality in mind, APC NetShelter Advanced Rack Power Distribution (PDU) is Schneider Electric's latest innovation in intelligent Rack PDUs for data center environments. Up to 48 outlets in a single wide form factor and models available up to 34.6kW provide support for high density. The Industries first 4-in-1 combination outlets (C13/C15/C19/C21) provide the flexibility to simplify and speed deployment. New features such as NMC power sharing and a live swappable NMC help to maximize uptime. APC NetShelter Rack PDU Advanced is available in a broad range of configurations spanning 5kVA to 34.6kVA across metered, switched, and outlet metering functionality all in a single wide, 0U, vertical form factor.

NetShelter Metered-by-Outlet with Switching Rack PDU

APC Metered Outlet with Switching Rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) provide active metering of individual outlets and remote on/off switching control of individual outlets. Metering at the outlet level allows users to enable energy optimization and detailed capacity planning. User-defined alarm thresholds mitigate risk with real-time local and remote alerts to warn of potential circuit overloads. The Metered-by-outlet feature provide a granular level of power utilization data that allow Data Center Managers to make precise decisions on load balancing and right sizing IT environments to lower total cost of ownership. The Switching feature enables advanced, user-customizable power control. The Switching feature provides remote power on/off outlet level controls for power cycling to remotely reboot equipment and restrict unauthorized use of individual outlets. Power sequencing time delays allow users to define the order in which to power up or down attached equipment to avoid circuit overload. Current metering provides real-time remote monitoring of connected loads with user-defined alarms to warn of potential circuit overloads. Users can access, configure, and control Metered by Outlet with Switching Rack PDUs through secure Web, SNMP, Command Line Interface, or Telnet Interfaces which are complimented by APC Centralized Management platforms using StruxureWare Data Center Expert, Operations, Capacity, and Energy Efficiency. New AP8000 series Switched Rack PDUs include real power monitoring, a temperature/humidity sensor port, and locking IEC receptacles.

Step-Down Transformer

This product family offers products which are rack based designs and fit into any standard 19” rack. The product design is consistent with other APC products, so you can be assured of consistent look and feel. They are only 2U in height and deliver up to 4.5 kW to your load. (Note: 1U equals 1.75”) They step down 208V to 120 V for distribution to loads. They are designed to work with the APC Symmetra and Smart-UPS 208V products.
