How the MBS (Maintenance Bypass Signal) works at SRTG5KVA to 20KVA?

Cause:
They are confused about how and what is the importance and use of MBS "Maintenance Bypass Signal"

Resolution:

The MBS (Maintenance Bypass Signal) terminal is located on the back of the UPS (rear panel) and will be noted to have a jumper wire attached.

The MBS jumper connector must remain attached in order for the UPS to provide normal operation. As soon as the MBS jumper wire is removed while the UPS is in online condition, the said UPS will switch to bypass mode. See screenshot below:

Note: Said Terminal is an option to perform a manual bypass.
