The Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP) in PowerChute Business Edition creates a sessions folder in the installation directory
Issue:
The Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP) in PowerChute Business Edition creates a sessions folder in the installation directory.

Product Line:
PowerChute Business Edition versions 10.0.4 and above

Environment:
All supported Windows and Linux operating systems

Background:
PowerChute creates a sessions folder in the installation directory when CEIP is enabled. When attempting to contact the Analytics Server, PowerChute generates 4 files in this folder. If communications between PowerChute and the Analytics Server are not established, PowerChute will attempt to contact the server every 7 days. Each time PowerChute attempts to contact the server, the 4 generated files are overridden.

Solution:
These generated files will automatically be deleted when PowerChute gains communications with the Analytics Server.
