When using the Mobile Power Pack, how can I charge both my Phone and my 2.4A device simultaneously?
The Mobile Power Pack has a maximum charging Output of 2.4A, shared between the two USB ports.
Mobile Power Pack:
M5BK and M10BK
Environment:
N/A
Cause / Resolution:
The Mobile Power Packs have a combined 2.4A output charging current, between the two USB type A ports. When connecting a 2.4A device to the applicable 5v/2.4A USB port, all of the Mobile Power Pack’s charging capability will be utilized, rendering the 5V/1A unable to charge another device.
For charging the two devices simultaneously, it is recommended the 2.4A device be connected to the 5V/1A USB port and your additional 1A device be connected to the 5V/2.4A USB port. The 5V/1A USB port is electrically limited to 1A and although the device connected in this instance is a 2.4A device, the Mobile Power Pack will still be capable of charging the device at a reduce rate.
